Re: lock pick?

a screwdriver will destroy the lock. you need to invest in a lockpicking kit and figure out what position each of the 4 or 5 pins inside needs to be.

good luck with that, picking a lock is no joke. takes alot more than pushing a couple pins around to pick a lock. hell of alot more. then again depends on the type of lock... you can pick a padlock in like 3 seconds flat, but when its a tumbler lock **** gets complicated

Re: lock pick?

Get a Vortex gas cap set. And picking a lock on a gas tank is easy as ****. If I remember right it only has 5 pins vs 7 pins for an ignition. I poped a yamaha gas tank and a kawasaki gas tank in like less than a minute just the other day. My friend use to own a locksmith company and still hads a pick set. We were in the garage messin around with the bikes and I wanted to see how hard it was. I was able to get my buddy's R1 ingition once by luck. Not a chance on my 636. The tanks were a sinch though. I did it a few times each just to make sure it wasnt luck. You can get one of those sets from a Snap-on or Matco guys.
