brake chatter

lately my brakes seem to chatter a lot when i'm rolling a stoppie. it used to be real smooth and predictable, but it's getting worse and worse every time i go out. calipers are tight. pad pins are tight. pads still have plenty of meat on them. fork seals are good too. rotors are dragging just a little, but not binding.

anyone know off the top of their head what it could be? i feel like i'm missing something really simple and obvious.

Re: brake chatter

Definitely tighten everything you can think of that is associated with brakes. If not then yea, some sort of seal is going out and not holding pressure.

****

it also seems that the bike chatters more after i've been riding it for a while. when i hit the brakes cold, it's smooth and consistent. i'll double check the fork seals tonight.

maybe i could fix it with a half eaten bag o' skillz
