i have gone through 4 motors in the last 2 years. knocking noises and pingin, whats the cure, i have been runnin extra oil and everything. Is there any tips or tricks i can do . Has anyone tried the stunters.com oil pick up

I've had the same 05 GSXR750 with the same motor (with a stuntex pickup) for almost 3 years now...still running strong as ever!

oh ya...extra oil in a GSXR is not good unless you have the PAIR mod...more likely to get oil in your airbox and then hydrolock or bend a rod, etc

what is the PAIR mod? been runnin mine a half quart over for bout two years.

The PAIR mod bypasses the crankcase breather from an oily location to the airbox and redirects it to the exhaust ports. Info on this mod is easily found through a google search or in the "Help and How to" section of this site.

A little overfill is ok, and I'm not saying that overfilling WILL cause problems, just that it makes it more likely. I overfill a little myself...but I stay under the top of the glass window.

Stuntex oil pickups are god for gsxrs!

i overfill mine,have pick-up and haven't had a problem on any of my gixxers.

*gotta get a pick-up and quit highway whooling that thing at 12k rpm.
