Re: Cold start lever on 2003 gsxr 600
i dont know about the new gixxers but on most others it is there to cut off the air and add more fuel richening it to aidin starting. those bikes are not a true uel injected bike they still have throttle b odies which is essentially a carbuerator with different technology

WTF are you talkin about? If it has throttle bodies it's not fuel injected?Haven't seen a fuel injected bike yet that doesn't have throttle bodies!I don't even know what else to say to this fongnojgnvierhoighionvonhbvuhfuhughiuhviygewtokepr ogjohg!

continuous injection
throttle body injection
and carbuerated
look them up and learn something TBI and carb same ****** deal but one uses a vacum the other pressurized fuel but different locations of the injectors either inside or outside
continuous(true fuel injection) no throttle bodies no carbs and no choke

TBI and carb are not the same "deal" at all,and there isn't different locations of the injectors in them because one doesn't have injectors because its CARBED it has jets that control the metering of the fuel and the fuel is bought in by vacuum.TBI uses a injector and shoots or spray's fuel into the intake under pressure way different.Carbs are mechanical and you have to adjust the fuel metering manually by physically changing the jets it does not adjust its fuel delivery by itself according to the atmospheric conditions.TBI on the other hand has numerous sensors that measure air temp, density, speed, throttle position and so on,and a computer uses all these things to precisely meter the amount of fuel getting sent to the injector.Carbed and TBI are no where's near the same thing or "deal" as you said.

And I don't care what kind of injection you got there still has to be a throttle body somewhere or how would you control the amount of air getting to the engine?Just cause it's not injected at the throttle body doesn't mean its not a throttle body. Also these bikes while the injector is located at the bottom of the throttle body and sprays fuel directely at the intake valve this is not TBI.TBI sprays fuel into the throttle body then it is sucked in by the engines vacuum.
