ok so i have a 02 gsxr 1000 and went for a ride today, when i got on it in first gear it seemed like it went into neutral then back into gear then into neutral and back into gear this happened in like 2 sec as i was gettin on it.. i let off and went into 2nd, i got on it again and same thing, 3rd had no problem nor did 4th, 5th and 6th, im thinking the shift fork is bent for 1 & 2, has anyone else had this problem, if so how difficult is it to replace the shift fork, i have common knowledge of mechanics... the bike is stock except for air filter and exhaust. with about 15,000 miles, stock sprockets that are in good shape.... any help would be great. thank you

ok after diggin around a little i think its possible the timming is off and/or a tooth is broken on a timming gear, the bike runs like crap and still have same concern for 1st and 2nd....has anyome had this happen, help me out
