f4i idle

hey boys..... was playing with my new f4i, idle would only go to 2500....... pulled off the idle screw, grabbed one of a 96 900rr....... it was shorter.......is this the proper one? it does not go to the same place as carbed bike....... i tried the search forum feature and it says there are no topics with f4i in the title....... sorry for the repost.

Hey hope you didn't get the pull one it won't work from what I read. If its the turn one take the screw out under the air box next to your cables should be real small. Insert the new cable there route it out your gas tank on the left side near the air duck. Should be fine. Hope that helps.

absolutely perfect!!!!!!!!! i had the stock one out..... made it longer, reinstalled it and nothing...... both myself and another guy at my shop were left scratchin our butts at how the stock idler worked...... life saver.

make sure u put the stock one back in and adjust it to 1100-1300rpm


otherwise it will run like crap...

This is true also. The stock only changes the fuel/air mix and will make it run like crap.
