removing upper on F4

hey just curious as everyone seems to be running somethign a bit different...when taking off the upper from an F4, some people run without the hoses some people run one and others run both.. whats the difference? just for looks or? is there anything i would have to do to my airbox when removing the airbox tubes or whatever to make it run properly? just tryin to save my minty upper so i figured i should look into what i'm gettin into before doin it

sorry lack of sleep from working a bullshit midnight shift.. the hoses/tubes that are used to ram air into the airbox.. forget what they're called at the moment but they come out of the airbox and go into the upper

i know on the F3 the little things at the end of the hose matter... convert it to one hose and slap the little end piece on. or it will run like ****..

Re: removing upper on F4

thanks wheeliest i appreciate the help.. would you suggest taping over the other side of the airbox when i run only one hose so it won't try to suck air from the side without the hose?
