front rim

hey whats up guys just got a question

if i take a bandit 600 front rim with dual rotors would that mate up with my 400 bandit with only 1 rotor? i'd have to get another brake caliper and new lines but just wondering if it *should* fit. thanks

r u asking if you can put dual rotors/calipers on your single rotor/caliper by putting on a new rim with dual rotors?

if so i don't see the dual rotor/caliper setup working because i don't think your stock front end has a place to mount another caliper to the fork tubes. but u might be able to use the rim as a back-up?

-side note- see if the front end off the 600 will fit on your 400, if so just swap the whole front end.i just put a 03gsxr1000 front end on a 04gsxr600!

Re: front rim

wheel wont fit on its own, only way would be by changing forks, which would mean changing the yokes and spindle etc.

I used to have a bandit 400, what a pile of ***** that thing was!
