big prob..help asap

ok heres my prob,,,,i tried to move my stock idle adjuster over to the left more ,,cause it was a pain in the *** to get to ..( its a f4i )...well i moved it,,didnt like where it was and moved it back.....now bike is rideing like ****.....
you know when you first start the bike for the first time in the day the bike idles high to warm up then gradually drops down.....yea none of that now.... when i start it it goes to about 1-1 1/2......and just stay theres....
also when i got to the spot,i went to turn it up and it wouldnt go past 3...so did a couple whoolies and it jumped up to 4,so iturnd it down,,,to 3.5 and it went back up again.......

anyone got any ideas????/

Sounds to me like its about to un-screw it self out. I used to turn my stock up for what cause I'm a retard but eventually after you mess with it enough it backs it self out. That's just my 2 cents.

Re: big prob..help asap

If its the stock one. It blows to get it back in. I think you need to pull the TB to get to it. From there you have to find what screw hole it fell out of. I believe the middle adjust your gas/fuel so i'm assuming thats the one it goes in. The two other ones is where you put the idle mod. I'm doing this next week. Hold on I have the post from a while ago about the idle mod.

Re: big prob..help asap

That's what I had to do. Mine actually fell out one day pulling up to a light and my rpms went to .5 and I was like WTF just happened. I've left it at 1.9 ever sense. Waiting on my 900rr cable to come in.

Re: big prob..help asap

I'm from Schenectady but I'm down to go anywhere right now I'm picking up a trailer tomorrow :YEAH . I ordered the idle cable from Marshall motorsports in Saratoga. It was like 12 bucks. I'm sure the stealership will cost more. I ordered the 900 cause everyone said it will fit so i got a 96 900 cable and this better work let you know how it works out when it comes in.

because the stock one is a air idle mixture adjustment. thats why you put the one at the top
