Re: clutch help needed ASAP

the clutch plates are the most important things to replace.. the steel plates that divide each clutch plate do not need to be replaced unless they are warped or worn out very badly.. chances are no they do not need to be replaced

Re: clutch help needed ASAP

If you take your steals and stack them up , you can see if any have burnt marks from heat or if they are warped.they can also be cleaned back up

Re: clutch help needed ASAP

not to jack your thread, but i got another 900 clutch question. Will the clutch in the 893 (93-95) be a direct replacement 919s (96+) or are they completely different?

Re: clutch help needed ASAP

onewheel:

just a word of advice, use your stock springs if u buy that ebay clutch kit....i bought a clutch kit and new springs a few years ago and i made the mistake of pitching my stock f4i springs and puttin the aftermarket ones it...

ur clutch will be 100times stiffer even with an ez pull..its kind of annoying and differnt to get used to if u have a naturally soft clutch

that being said who has stock f4i clutch springs lol??
