Lost keys...my options?

Wassup dudes, 2002 f4i lost my damn keys, someone told me before
that I can have keys remade from the serial under the gas cap? Any other

Re: Lost keys...my options?

The ignition has a code on it (like Las Cruces said). That, with the make, model and yr. of your bike is all a competent locksmith needs to make a key. It should cost about 10 bucks, I've had it done. If you can't get your ignition off of your top clamp to read the code just take the entire top clamp off. Post up tomorrow and tell us how easy it was.

He could always tip it up on it's kickstand, drop one of the tubes in the lower clamp and just rotate the clamp to free the fork lock.
