so i dipped back into Engine brake right before rev limiter and slowed down to idle, set the front wheel down and turned arround to head back the other way when my **** started to ping cling clank stall out, i instantly new what happend and try'd to fix it with rev limiter but i was alittle late.

so i take it home and let it sit over night, go out to the garage the next day and start pulling the tank off
Yes that is cylinder #1 filled completely up with oil to the butterfly in the throttle body

what is the 'T' connection connected to? and is that setup so the oil gets rerouted back into the motor?

 

Wow, glad you didn't toast the motor! One less thing to worry about.

 

Funny, just got done changing plugs and was looking at the setup.

My bike was a former track bike, so the previous owner plugged the airbox and is running some kinda filter on the end of the OEM crankcase hose. Its more of a breather now, but I can see how it will make a mess up-on-one.

Roger have you noticed your oil level drop over time? And does the packing in the silencer get soaked over time like a 2-smoke?

 

i just fill mine to the top of the site glass and i have no problem but i don't drag my bar for a long time i usually just hit it for a second and then im off it

 

its pretty cool, idle felt a bit better

i've hydrolocked every one of my bikes (cept my F4i). the thing that kills em is when it happens people try to start there **** for 10 minutes.. thats when u bend a rod.

 

i rolled my **** out the garage and turn her over with no plugs and it shot oil 20 feet into the air and lotioned my entire bike with 20/50 haha check out the gravel mist

there was a slight breeze so it helped with distance

 

dude i hate getting oil everywhere, so i just connect the the breather hose from the crankcase to the two on the top of the valve cover and i will not have this problem on my new p.o.s.

 

yes sir thats how to fix it... u cap off the little vac line that i highlighted in red also.

 

What size hose did you go with? Also what size is the T-connector fitting?
