Re: clutch fibers keep breaking
You must have put them in wrong. Re read your manual and try again. Make sure you soak the fibers in oil for atleast 15min. I've only broke 1 set of fibers and it was because the bike was sitting for over a year and the fibers in the clutch were dry. But it also could be because you maybe put them in wrong or flipped. I believe the 1st and last fibers are different.

without being by a fiche to check, yes, you're probably right about the first and last being different.
Start Fiber, end fiber. Always one more fiber than metal plates. Also make sure you have the right number of each, etc. On the Honda, I believe there is a spacer that is small, that goes in first around the shaft.

Re: clutch fibers keep breaking
normaly after you break fibers it causes un-evan pressure spots which cause your pressure plate to warp...
next time you have your clutch apart, put your clutch puller rod through your pressure plate and spin it as you hold the clutch pull rod, this will show you if your pressure plate is warpped., they warp fairly easy cause as your **** slips it heats your **** up and the pressure plate then warps from heat and cause of broken fibers...

Re: clutch fibers keep breaking
yeah usally on the larger displacement bikes the last fiber is stagared to the right one tooth to help with noise clatter, also the steel plates when you take them out next time notice the steel plates have a "flat" side and and "round" side, you must put them in the same way all flats or all round,
