Arrow Wheelies constantly drifting to the right

really starting to **** me off with this bike, no one that rides it can tell me why but it will drift to the right within 20 feet of a wheelie, 1st gear, 2nd gear, standing sitting blah blah, even if you lean on the left peg and basically hang off the left side the bike will put you in the right lane. Frame is straight, bike has never been down above 15 mph ... anyone??

Its just the presser on your right peg. kus thats how you turn in a wheelie just push down more on the peg. you can try leaning all the way back to stragihten out your wheelie it works out just fine for me

Consider the crowned road surface as well.

It's really easy to accidently steer one way or another. You'll get the hang of it.

Everytime I do sitdowns, I veer right because I tend to look a little left and in doing so, I twist my arms so that I'm steering the front wheel to go right.

Jay Carnes will become famous soon enough
few things to look at. Make sure the rear tire is centered EXACTLY. Look @ the little tabs on the swingarm. that WILL make a difference. Also, if your tire is worn to much on one side it WILL drift, like if you do donuts only to the left - it has a drag to one side. If all of these things are good, have someone else ride your bike & see if it also pulls. But if your doing a sit down & it still pulls with you leaning the opposite way it should be something else.

the crown of the road will also make you drift too. make sure the ground you are on is 100% flat.

good luck :YEAH

Yeh, for like 5 more days, then I'm moving to San Diego.

There are some other people from the area in town. Check out the Godspeed Extreme forum -- Dirty B is from Gainesville.

ok, like everyone else said i'm just gonna go through what it could be:
tire is off center, tire has odd wear....i do'nt think either one of those

i strongly think it's the crown of the road and the fact that it takes a lot of time to get used to steering. You can't just lean left, that puts weight on the right peg which causes it to still pull right. Basically you have to lift your right leg completley off the peg and that will put weight on the left peg.

took me forever to get this down. I usually take my right foot off and put it in front of me over the tank when i'm doing wheelies on highways because the crown pulls me so hard to the right. Very rarely i find a good rode that is strait and doesn't pull.
