Re: Photo Step by Step "How to Dent Tank/Paint/Bondo" on a budget"

SO WHAT I HAVE LEARNED IS........

DENT THE TANK ON THE BIKE ! ! ! ! lololol, I got everything all painted this afternoon, and when I got home from work, I put everything on except for my headlight, which is still drying, and my tank, but wait a sec, GOD DAMNIT ! ! ! ! ! ! my tank all of a sudden has a lift kit on it! ! ! !WTF ! ! ! !

Needless to say I was pissed the F*k off....well, I pounded the tank the other way, knocking countless hours of smooth painted bondo away....re-bondoed, primed and painted, and wah lah, my bike is done, less headlight....check it out.....

A few other things I did::

ground tabs off factory clip ons to accomodate a more dirt bike handle bar feel, polished clip-ons, red grips, and zip-tied a couple cracks, yes with black zip ties, I figured wtf, its gunna get f*kd up again.....

a 3 day make over done good.....I'll post better pics tomorrow.

Yes I cut it with a ban saw, and then re-welded the cap back on.

from the look of your hand brake/clutch setup, i'd guess you dont do a whole lot with the hand brake. Shorten that clutch up, eh? But nice work on the tank.
