Re: how do you guys
It seems like its not charging , now when you swapped motors did you swap the new stator (magneto) with it or did you use the old one? Try this get a multimeter and hook it up to the battery after you charge it , start up the bike and rev it as the rpms increase so should the volts . The volts should jump up to about 13.9 ,14 max . now if the volts drop then its something in youre charging system. Stator, charging coil, or possibly the cdi , try swapping youre old stator I bet thats it ,unless you interchanged any other elec. parts / lemme know how it turns out

Re: how do you guys
i would avoid putting any wires behind ur acerbis specially with a 929/954 front end. like ***** says keep it under the airbox and behind the radiator....
**** is just too likely to fray going thru the fork tubes and cause some electrical nightmare, which ive gone thru...
take the time. pop ur tank and airbox, coil and re wrap all wires, check for frays since every f4i harness is 3-7 years old....keep wires away from the head mostly the headers and ull be set, get rid of ur upper harness too unless ur running gauges,
long post u get the idea!!!

Re: how do you guys
are you guys saying that its gonna fry from the acerbis lights(heat) or from the forks touching em?
cause i noticed that the harness splits into TWO right before it gets to the forks....
one end is for lights, gauges, and tipover which as you said can be taken under the airbox.
and the other is for controls, starter...etc which you cant touch
i managed to put em right under each other against the frame so even with the wheel turned completely to the left, the forks barely touch it....to the point where it doesn't put any pressure on the wires.

Re: how do you guys
my acerbis headlight has a bracket on one side to help hol the harness in place behind it
you can't see it in the pics but my entire harness is behing the headlight and it looks clean
i did re-wrap the wires and they don't rub on the frame or forks
