Re: throttle cables in the way

I didnt drill anything just grinded the nubs off and pushed em forward. Got a good ride on them today for the first time they feel way better than stock. I feel like i have way more control and can steer better in wheelies.

Took a few hot laps around the block to get used to them though lol

You have to grind off the nub inside the throttle housing. I leave everything up front snug... not tight so when I wreck it all moves around and won't snapp. I've never had a problem with my lines binding up once I flipped it. Get the 1000rr throttle assembly. You'll be happy you did. It' an all aluminum housing and is half the size of anything else. After I got the housing I rewired my bike with a push button start off of a cr450f

Re: throttle cables in the way

ff for sure, just flip a endo, break your upper stay in half and big ziptie in middle problem solved. works for me.

Does the 1000rr throttle tube go right on w/out mods?
