anyone know if F4 ignition works for F4i??

ok i wasnt sure if it would kick the pump on and everything. someone said that the diodes may be different

It Wont The F4i Ignition Has A Diode That Regulates Power To The Ecu Its 7 Volts And Its The Pink Wire Coming Off The Ignition.

I am using my old 99 f4 ignition on my 04 f4i and it works...sooo

yes they have an ecu, it is located under the bannana seat on the side of the subframe, kinda hidden under the rear tail section
