636 Hybrid

Looking around I see people list 636 hybrids for their ride, what are they doing, what is the mod? Does it give you any advantages?

Re: 636 Hybrid

you mean me...

05 wheels and rotors, 05 showa built forks.

KYB forks are junk, 05 wheels are sick, 05 front rotors are larger and wave style. 05 rear rotor is wave style.

see here...

Re: 636 Hybrid

copy cat

A wheel and fork swap isnt enough to call a bike a hybrid IMO.....The 02 GSXR 600 I built for a friend is a Hybrid .....Swapped over to 04/05 motor, all wiring, front end, swingarm, etc etc....Only 02 parts are the frame, sub, and bodywork/tank everything else is 04/05

Re: 636 Hybrid

yes but when it does sell im not going to say piece out, have a nice time with your bike, ima say hey for $200 i will switch out a 05 motor into it... and keep the old motor n sell it etc.. i want to clear powder coat the frame n swap a 05 swing arm on it in the future, for who ever buys it.
