f4i signal prob

have a 01 f4i street legal stunt bike and i am changing back to stock blinkers from a intigrated tail light. on my cluster my left turn signal is on which it should be ( i think) but my right turn signal is off. which makes the rear right signal not to have constant power for the valance light. it still blinks though. it has 2 wires to each signal. ground and a constant power except when it blinks. but the bad right side just blinks, no constant power.

just wondering if any one knows why this would be....
- relay
- bad wire
- any thing else

thanks

Re: f4i signal prob

ok let me see if i got this right....
when you use your blinkers..to the left the light on your gauges blinks(correct) and when you put the blinker to the right the blinker works but not on yer gauges??? so all your blikers work but not on your gauges

sorry if i didnt explain this good. both lights blink on the gauges, as well on the bike... the prob is that the running/valance light (right blinker) isnt on on the gauge or the signal light... where on the left side the running/ valance light is on the cluster and on the left signal.

Re: f4i signal prob

yup im using after market lights but that doesnt matter cause the one on the left side works fine, but ya u got it its just the running light... but the running light on the front(even on the bad "right" side) works. every think is cool except the running light on the back right side and the right cluster light( but the cluster light does work when it is blinking...

Re: f4i signal prob

so this is what someone said on another local forum:

"The rear turn signals are not marker lights. They, and the dash light, should only light up when they are blinking."

ok if thats the case what is wrong with the left side that the marker lights are on on.
