How can I modify my pickup to quick pickups???

I am an Indian ...I have an Bajaj Pulsar DTSI-150cc Bike...The thing is that it is one of the fastest indian bikes....The pickup of it is also greater comparing to the other bikes ( in India)...but is there any way by which i can modify its pickup so that it will take to greater rpm's more quickly...

Please suggest me if there is any possibility...
