I got to looking a little more.. ( I didn't realize how many do it yourselfers there are anodizing) It seems like some work to set it up, but for the most part pretty simple. I guess it just depends on how big the parts are you want to anodize.

its coo to anodize but if it is somthing u r going to touch alot with bare hands go for powder coat because i found out playing paintball that anodizing will come off when it comes in contact with your skin so many times im not sure what dose it but after a while the color will come right off

there's no way it will come off just by contacting your skin. now it will fade if your out in the sun a lot and you gotta becareful not to scratch it. but you can do some cool designs and **** with it, **** you can't do with powder but powder is definetly more durable.
