F4i Acerbis Headlight Wiring (Cyclope Headlight)

Low beam and running light

High beam

Ok heres what i did to hook mine up... figured id post a little how to... just becase.

You will end up with the lowbeam and running light on at the same time, and the highbeam still running off of your highbeam switch.

Alright First i took the Acerbis headlight spliced the grounds (both black) together so the 2 wires run into 1 wire for the lowbeam and the running light.

Then i took the Acerbis headlight and spliced the positives (1 white 1 red) together from the lowbeam and running light.

With that i ran them into the 3 slot connector (only using 2 slots) supplied with the Acerbis headlight.

Finally i took the 2 wires for the High beam (1 black (-), 1 white (+)) and just ran them into the 2 slot connector supplied with the Acerbis Headlight.

Now for the headlight Harness

First thing i did was clip off the stock headlight Connectors

Then I replaced the the Stock Headlight Connectors with the new ones Supplied with the Acerbis Headlight.
Low beam should be (green (-), Striped blue (+) )
High beam should be (green (-), Solid blue (+) )

Now for the tip over sensor.

You can either take it off of your stock headlight and remount it on the bike somewhere.

Or you could do what i did make a jumper out of just a piece of 14g wire i got at autozone. Then take the jumper and put it from the red to green wire inside of the connector and just tape it to the harness.

you can also clip off the Connector twist the red and green together and tape off the white all by itself. Either way you will have to do something with being the bike will not start without it.

Now mount that fu**er and go ride! :YEAH

Wow, the wires on the back of that cyclops look a lot less prone to eventually pulling out like they do on the diamond.

Re: F4i Acerbis Headlight Wiring (Cyclope Headlight)

Too many wires!!!

Why don't you guys get the manual and just wire everything up at the "Main Harness" and eliminate that entire headlight harness completely. Everything can be wired up to the main harness.... tip over, headlights, clutch switch.... and then you can just stick the end of the main harness into one side of the air box. Alot cleaner and neater.

So, that solid blue wire. Is it a light blue? I tried hooking the lamp up to it and nothing happens. And it happens to be the only blue wire without stripes.
