Angry Get'n it up?? help on a zx-6r

Right I've a '99 zx-6r Stock.

firstly this is all new to me!!

I've been trying this bouncin method in 2nd and I'm getting no where, does it help if I have a play aroung with the suspension set up?

I can get it up in first if I clutch it but its only there for a second or 2, where am I going wrong???

Let me know if there are any other members from Edinburgh, Scotland that can maybe show me where I'm Fcukin up?

well I got an 00 6r and I don't get the whole bounce thing... (never did) I clutch EVERYTHING!
2nd takes ALOT of revs to get up but you do need to tug on the bars a bit too... it'll come up.. it's all about timing. Also you may be letting off the throttle when you let out the clutch, I used to do that....

Question Bouncin

I take it Bouncin is just a matter of practice, practice practicfe!

I'm gonna drop one at the front and +3 on rear.

Hopefully that will help it!

It does take a while to get used to the whole bounce thing. You don't need to do anything to your suspension. I've learned the bounch thing in 2nd. It is tough to get down. But once you go down 1 in the front, you'll be fine. Really helps. I have 1 down and now 6 up, but thats for a lot slower stuff. You can definately do wheelies, and 2nd gear bounce wheelies when you have 1 tooth down in front. Helps a lot.

Get that front end up! practice practice!!! front end waayyy up in the air, you'll be able to ride out wheelies for ever!

you may want to check your suspension in the rear and make sure it isn't too soft. I have a buddy who bought an 03 F4i (I ride a 01 6R) and I could wheelie super easy on his bike at first. Then he soften the suspension up front and back and I got on and couldn't clutch the puppy up for anything. It will def. make difference. I am +3 in the rear on my bike and clutching is what I used todo all the time but I am getting the bounce down so I do that now more then clutching. I usually clutch at about 30-40 moh and I can bounce anywhere between 30-70 mph, it's great!
