Re: scotts damper HELP !

The **** just turns a valve that moves up and down in a hole in the housing.Under the set screw in the **** is just a spring and a steel ball under the spring that sits in some holes, thats what gives it the click when you adjust it.You may have turned it to far.I flipped a stoppie a couple weeks ago and f*cked mine up,scotts had for about a week to fix it.Was pretty cheap to.

Re: scotts damper HELP !

Damn, I forgot about that. Thats the one thing wrong with Scotts, if you turn those ***** too many times it comes apart INSIDE the damper. Thats probably what you did BMORE.

Just take the cable out of your bike.... its on the left side of the bike where your shin is when you are sitting on the bike.

I believe that Scotts rebuilds them for free or a little fee. You will get it back in 2 weeks at the most.
