Re: will I f*ck it up
You'll be ok jacken it up from the headers or oil pan. I think I'd rather put the jack under the headers. It'll proably be close clearing the forks from the bottom of the triple clamp.
I hung by front from the rafters to change forks.

I'm gonna change the whole front end, so under the headers should work fine then huh? It wont bend or dent them?well I dont care about dents I just dont want to ruin them

Re: will I f*ck it up
dude the best way that works for me is hangin the bike unde a stairwell at an apmnt. or garage rafters
hang the front of the frame and get it tight, lean it over on the kick stand and jack one side up, then do the opposite to level it out, im not too big 5.8 185 but i do this solo all the time....just need to tie downs and maybe 2 soft straps
use the jack under the heder and thats coo but not as main support....

Put it on the bar and go to work....
Nah I have used the jack under the headers cause my R6 was on the stand. Put a piece of wood on the jack it will keep it more stable and keep from denting the header. You can also put jackstands on the sliders on your cage if you have F.I. or powers with the extended sliders lift one side at a time and put stand under it...
