Powers will interchange either way 929 to 954 or 954 - 929
I just gave my new 954 FI cage to my buddy with a 929 and it fits perfect. The loop you get with the FI 929 cage might be to skinny to fit on a 954.

yeah 954 fit´s 929 but not 929 to 954, Loop and side struts are different cause the 929 sides are "cutted out" in the rear so you can see the clutch cover, 954´s are fully closed so you neeed different side struts that go around the side fairing or you cut them out.
