so heres the deal, i recentley went down on my 2002 f4i, i busted up the headlights and all that so i disconected all the wiring from the front end, and installed a acaribis headlight. I already bypassed the tipover sensor by grounding that one wire...
So...i found that the fuel cut off relay is not clicking. Theres the 2 relays on the subframe ones a start stop relay and the other is a fuel cut off relay, with the tipover sensor grounded the start stop relay clicks but i dont hear the fuel pump turn on. With the wire not grounded, the first relay doesnt click.... So i can get the fuel pump to turn on by grounding the wire with a test light. Theres were i am now and i dont have any more ideas, is it possible its the ICM cuz i know its tapped in that relay>?? I also tapped intoan ignition wire by where the headlights were just to test em and it seemed adter that it didint work, i know its a lot to take in but im stuck!!!! Anybody got any ideas?!!?!? Oh yeah, ALL the fuses are good, i seemed to blow the tipover sensor start fuse in the process but replaced it...!?!?!

Hmmm... Did you check all the safetys? Clutch, Neutral, Kill switch, double check ur tipover, kickstand?

yea go thru all ur electrical again....

i had a frayed wire inside an undamaged sheathing under the gastank.....=mousetrapp fever!!!!

the ***** cut out on me all the time till i fixed it

the bike should prime tho with the tip sensor bypassed?? is the ignition bypassed ?

I'm in the same boat.. just bought a lightly damaged 02 f4i, and have exactly the same prollem. I'll let you know when I figure it out.
