headlight not working...bad ground?
wusup all. been a long time. i wired up a ufo headlight about 1-1/2 to 2 years ago on my 636, and it was all good. time went on, and about 6 months later, i started poppin' my headlight fuse. put a new one in and on i went. after about 20 fuses, i'm like aight, somethin's gotta give. i swap the ufo for a different headlight setup and it works straight...for about 2 weeks. starts doin' the same thing. as soon as i hit my ignition, the fuse pops and no headlight. i'm thinkin' about rewirin' the whole headlight, makin' it its own individual circuit w/o wiring into anything else. can anybody give me some advice...i'm tryin to ride, and i usually ride at night. this isn't working for me

Re: headlight not working...bad ground?
Fuses pop when power after the fuse shorts to ground. make sure that there are no exposed or pinched wires going between the headlight and the fuse that are or have the chance of grounding.

had the same problem ...and i was too lazy to look at all the wiring...after popping so many fuses I decided to check it out and the harness was routed wrong and got pinched....follow each wire from the headlight and im sure you'll find the problem..
