ok i thought i knew what happend but i was wrong, ok every time i put gas in my tank it will leak for a while and then when it gets down to a certin point it stops so if anyone has an idea of whats going on please help because this is gettin retared

Is your tank dented??? If it is, your filling it up to much. Especially if your dent is in the back of the tank. It's just your overflow if thats the case.

yep, you got a leaky tank. your options are to only fill it half way, try to RTV silicone it, or buy a vortex gas cap.

if its not that then you need a new fuel pump rubber seal

Is It Leakin Out Of The Cap Or The Overflow Hose?

its leaking out of the bottom. and the cap is leaking a little..

the bottom is the gas overflow, which means when u open your gas cap, you know how there's that area between the cap and the gas hole, and u'll see a little hole in there, it's flowing up in that ring, and then through that hole..
