I seriously hate how perfect that is. I wouldn't wanna ride that thing at all. Go sell that tank on ebay or something. You should be in magazines. I think you'll make millions... jeeze...

I don't understand why you people are trying to dent the tanks. I can't stand filling my bike up every couple of hours (it only takes 3 bucks at a time!) Actually I have even changed my tank a couple of times because I hate the crushed ghetto look- but within a few days after some over the bars wheelies and stoppies I'm right back where I started. You guys should be happy that your tanks don't dent. I guess I just like the nice shiny stunt bike look- but after a couple of falls it still looks like trash anyway. I must be just waisting time and money keeping my load of crap looking good.

tank

If you decide to just beat the **** out of it, be careful around the gas cap. On my TL, i beat it a little too hard and it stopped making a good seal for the fuel, so my *** smelled like 93 Octane everytime i got off. Had to replace it with an old one off of a GS500. Good dent though!!!!

Finally smashed my F4i tank tuesday, After a "couple" of beers I said F**K it and just kicked it in. Looked like crap so I went to the surf shop and bought surf board grip to put on it I thonk it looks pretty damn good now, and I don't slide off while doing flying V's.

Be careful when you try to cave a 929 tank. I did mine with a rubber mallot and lost 2 gallons of space for gas.

Exactly. People ask me if my bike was wrecked from the look of the tank. It's no big deal to me,because I have another tank at home. If you're about looks you don't want to take a mallot to it.

use a 5 pound rubber mallett and just be careful not to get to crazy1 with it. Slowwwww is the main word here you can always do more but once it is there
grip tape also a great Idea, spray on bed liner the whole tank after you put a thin layer of bondo. I bet that would work pimp.

nesssssssssssssssssssss

i use no tape beacuse it tears up your jeans and you can't do spinderelle's on it.

there is always the Nick Hill method...just dump a can of mountain dew on the tank and let dry, lol
