crashed cbr 1000rr wont start
i picked up a crashed 1000rr it wont start I by passed all the crap and used a needle nose to bybass ,everything it cranks but wont start .
I used an r1 battery in it , could there not be enough cca to start it though it sounds strong
I just pulled the airbox and no fluids in there .
what is this i hear about pulling the plugs and cranking it to clear out the oil that may have entered the chambers? think this will work I will try it next.
where is the tip over sensor , how will the crah effect this sensor and what can I do with the tip over sensor is there some way to reset it?

Re: crashed cbr 1000rr wont start
the bike is destroyed....you should sell it to me right now for $50 and cut your losses.....haha
battery shouldn't make that much of a difference...esp. if its turning over easy
make a checklist......if the startor button is broken, could the kill switch be broken too? they are in the same pod right? so the wires could have been damaged...
....spark vs. no spark...
...got gas in it?.......
...feuls lines damaged/plugged?...
....feul pump turning on?...
....any fuses blown?....
....screw up "bypassing crap"?...
....clutch switch disconnected?...
....tip-over sensor?....
theres alot of things that would let the bike turn over but not start.....start with anythings that "looks" like it has damage on it or next to it, then search for the other logical things

Gotta start from the beginning, whatever you pulled off, put it back on and see if it starts.
Did you cut any wires? if so, splice em back together.
