my lower casing/oil pan has a crack where the oil plug is whats the best way 2 fix it im gonna try j/b weld but i need some helpful hints.....please help!

is it the oil pan or the case? if it's the pan pull it off and wash it till you can eat a bowl of cereal out of it... i am not joking about that. there can be no oil on the pan at all for it to work. but i'd find someone with a tig welder and try to get it fixed like that. if it's the actual trans case then i dunno what to tell you. jb should work but geting it actually welded and fixed is better.
