I got an 03 gix 6. I use the choke to turn the idle up. Only problem i have is then i pull in the clutch the idle drops and when i let it out the idle picks back up. So it's not a big deal and i can rock no handers on it all day so i don't worry about it.

Mine always chokes out down to 1.5k no matter where my idle is set to. Its gotta be fuel related cause if my idle is at stock, its nothin' to slow em down and hold it at 4k. When only doing idle stuff, its like the idle cant over come whatever is blocking it, but a stab at the gas overcomes it easily. I've already swapped fuel pump, tank, throttle body and injectors, even had the injectors flow benched. Gotta get my fuel pressure checked then i can cross out or fix this mess. Whoever finds this common problem out will be blessed highly by the gsxr gods.
