yep, normal wear. it's the price to pay for the fastest bike in the lightweight class. haha

i think they will charge 3-4 hours at the labor rate of $80/hour...

i've done plenty of work on 636's since they have come out....they have valve issues. they go out of spec super fast, usually around the 6k mark. if you get 10k before your first valve adjustment you are lucky.

wow......glad i dont ride a kawasaki, I'd be pissed if I had to pay 4-5hrs of labor+parts to get the valves adjusted at 6k miles.

like i said, price you pay to have the best bike in the class.

i would rather deal with that than the weak motor that will blow up on suzuki's or the poor quality of aluminum parts along with transmission parts on the yamaha. (can't say much about hondas...they are solid).
