I use Mobil 1 15-50 too with no probs. Most "fully synthetic" oils on the market are not that at all, including Mobil 1 - blended. If you change from synthetic you don't need to do anything but get the bike good and hot, drain it, fill it and put on a new filter. Good to go until your next oil change - now if you don't get the bike up to operating temp, then I can see significant residues remaining and having to change it right away, but that's about it. There's a great oil thread on the fireblades website. A lot of peeps like Motul 300V, but your gunna get all kinds of opinions on this topic.

if you switch back and forth from regular to synthetic you take a chance of oil leaks
