Oil light on

So I went out tonight working on the spreader stalls, and noticed the oil light coming on repeatly. Well now the bike makes a little funny noise and the oil light will not turn off.

I just did a oil and filter change a 70 days ago, and the oil level is fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks, Debo

THE BIKE WILL SIGNAL MULTIPLE CODES. LONG BLINKS ARE 10 AND SHORT ONES ARE 1, IT WILL SIGNAL ONE CODE, SPACE, AND THEN THE OTHER(S). LET IT CYCLE THROUGH A COUPLE OF TIMES TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR COUNT.

Re: Oil light on

first things first, pull the sensor and turn the bike over, make sure you still have pressure, then replace the sensor. If you have oil pressure and the sensor is good, yet motor still makes funny noise, you spun a bearing either big end or at piston pin.... send it to me, or replace. the more you run it the more damage it will cause, might be salvagable now. Either way stay away from any fast, high rpm ****.... my guess is #2 con rod is gonna touch a header soon.
