bike feeling sluggish
bike just isnt runnin as strong as it should, i just threw in new plugs but im gonna pull em out tomorrow and check to see what they look like. do you guys think jetting could make a big difference?
the bike was my buddies and over the past year has gotten slower, any ideas what it could be? im gonna try to clean the injectors and check all the fuel lines too

Re: bike feeling sluggish
your bike doesnt have injectors...its a carb bike..it has 4 carbs
im sure they are dirty as hell..take them off and clean out all the jets and holes in the carb..make sure the floats dont have any holes in them too..that can cause some problems

Re: bike feeling sluggish
is it a kinda hard to start when warm?
might be valve adjustment. tend to loose a bit of power as those valve clearances tighten up.
but yes you said injectors yet your profile say f4, what bike this on?

Re: bike feeling sluggish
ok back to the drawing board... i thought it was fixed because it seemed to run better but i didnt get on it... last night i took it out and every time i go WOT it feels like its missin almost, rpms climb real slow and has no power.
when i start it the idle sort jumps a little, about 100rpms up and down.
