Check this one out: When I start my bike up, all is well. After I ride up to about 55-60 the speedo goes to zero, the odometer and tripometer stop counting and the FI and the red light come on. Every now and then the speedo will come back and the fi and red light stay on. After I stop at a light and put the bike in neutral, if I put the kickstand down, the red light goes off. I take to the dealer today and after 2 hours of labor (170 bucks) they tell me that my wiring harness isn't exactly what it should be. He told be there was a difference in the wire color between what's on my bike and what honda says should be there????? He suggests that there could be a problem with my wiring harness (400 bucks). Anyone have any suggestions before I go purchase one? Thanks in advance fellas.
