What the heck are you talking about?
Everyone says to bounce with your arms and legs while bouncing up a 2nd gear wheelie. My question is if you also push down with your arms ( I take it that is what is ment by "bounce with your arms") how do you keep from wacking the throttle. When I try this my right hand keeps hitting the gas and the bike jumps like its going to throw me off.

Here is what I do on my R6 stock geared. The only difference is what RPM you might do yours at because your bike is not a R6:
I'd say I'm rolling in 2nd gear at about 40-45mph. I roll on the throttle about 1/2 to 50-55mph. I then close the throttle, bounce my weight on the PEGS only, only the pegs, nothing with hands/wrists, then open the throttle right after I bounce. The chop/bounce is done at the same time, then open the throttle again right away. The wheel will be coming up once you figure out the powerband.
You should be able to do it in 3rd with stock gearing if your front suspension is setup soft. Mine's like a rock.
DO NOT PULL OR TUG. AT ALL. It will do nothing but pull your own weight over the front wheel and make it come up crooked. The only thing you do with your upper body is lean forward or backward to adjust the balance.
