The wheel is sliding in the forks , but what keeps the wheel centered on the axle besides the discs is the axle 2 piece?

For anyone who doesnt know like myself. The axle is 2 piece. One male side stepped down and threaded. The other side is a bushing ,nut, and spacer in 1. This keeps the wheel centered not spacers. Leave the clutch side fork squeeze bolts tight take a breakover and the 24mm allen socket turn for right handed threads, once the axle is seperated loosen the squeeze bolts and slip out the bushing/nut and the other side is already loose it slips right out of the wheel. Im off tomorrow to the rebuild shop. Thanks a ton to all. $112 fork rebuild is that to high $52 for the seals $60 for labor. That is me pulling and installing.
