rectifier question

2000 f4, it hada sh693-12 rectifier... which doesnt match up with any of my buddies who have f4's but this one has a lot of mods from the last guy who owned it.. i looked all over and find the exact one so will another model work?? fu<ker overheated

o yea... i plugged my friends rectifier in and it didnt work

but i think his was a 99 not a 2000 if they changed it

honda rectifiers were changed at one point hence the new part number. the old ones dont have heat fins on the top

yea this one has heat fins too... but i dont know which one to get... if i buy the oem rectifier it should work i assume?

I think its pretty safe to assume an oem part would work.
