removing motor

where is the best place to jack the motor up from to loosen the bolts on a 03 gix 600. I know it has two tabs you are suppose to lift from but it's kind of hard to do without two jacks, i can get two if i must. thanks for the help

I've removed several gsxr motors. remove the top rear bolt then the three front bolts. The motor will tilt down. PLace something soft underneath like cardboard or tarp or something. Unbolt the lower rear bolt and the pinch bolts and it will just slide down. done deal. If you want, have one other person to stabalize the motor.

yeah
THere's two long bolts that are vertically one above the other (the upper is usually used for 905cages), lock nut on each, then the pinch bolts. THen the three up front. I was amazed after my first time, how easy it is to completely disesemble a bike.
