the zener diode controls the fuel pump mang-the wrong diode wont allow the pump to turn on, whereas everything else will still work normally-take the diode out, and the ignition will still work.

^ Nothin worked when the diode was cracked in half so your wrong on that.
When the 954 ignition was in there it worked until I tried to jump the tip over sensor on the main harness so that has to be causin me my problems even tho I don't know how.
