top tripple help...for db bars ???

does anyone know, where to get, or who else makes a good top tripple with tagmounts, built specifically for dirtbike bars???

i have the ghetto fab, drilled stock top tripple, and it doesnt work that well, if your too big, it wont stay tight. I've even seen pics of em breaking out.

a company called LSL makes the tripple, but only sells it in a 400 dollar kit, complete with gay bars (which i dont want).

can anyone help me??? its for my 929s.

this is waht it looks like...

Re: top tripple help...for db bars ???

those LSL setups put the risers really far back towards the tank......would be even worse for a damper.....you'll be ok if you can do the fork mount damper.....but removes some of your options....

....plus I don't keep my bike real clean but when the triple showed up, it was worthy of putting on a show bike......here's a little better pic to show the CNC cut billet aluminum....looks like somin that could be on a show custom!!!!

Well Bill was doing them all plain before and the top was plain we sent it back to be done in black. So you could still anodize you plain aluminum any colour you want, yours are plain too.....I have a link for anodize here $50 for a basket full in all the basic colours..........

And the box on the tank is a temp guage

bummer.....would have loved a speedo like that, don't have one at all on my bike right now, and when rollin by cops I usually try to pace cars until he turns his lights on or not!!!

You do the anondizing??? or just a link to someone who does. I wouldn't mind having a swingarm, triple, and a couple other parts done if the price was right!

Well thats the Daytona Temp guage with clock feature, they make another more expensive model that does RPM and I think speedo too.....When rolling by cops we roll by as fast as possible so they cant see what colour our bikes are....I have a speedo but its not hooked up to the speed sensor I only use it for RPM and gas guage...

I dont anodize myself I have a friend that has a friend that does, its $120 for a whole basket but you could fit a whole bike in there. So its $50 min charge and I can do a box full of parts......

Your tripple would be no problem as its plain billet aluminum, you cant anodize anything that is cast aluminum or has welds so no swingarms, frames, rearsets, etc etc those would have to be powdercoated to get an anodized look....

I did buy one, BUT in order for them to work you have to have the sensor and magnet within like 1mm of each other.......and I could seem to get it mounted to where I could get it to function....even tried a stronger magnet, and still didn't work

I was wanting everything to match, I might just wait and have everything powdercoated then, sounds like thats the best option right now.......plus it'll give me plenty of time to get better so I don't trash everything!!!!!
