burning out my clutch?

burning out my clutch?
ok so im learning to clutch it up.. and it looks like im burning my clutch up? which from what i read is not normal..
I went out a few times last year and had no troubles with it..
but since i got back on my bike this year each time i go out after about half an hour my clutch gets sloppy and i have to adjust the cable out..
so ive been out 4 times so far this year and im out of adjustment..
Im new so i figured i am riding the clutch alittle but from what ive read clutchs normally last a while...
I recently changed over from penzoil 10/40 miniral to motul 10/40 semi sinthetic.. could the oil be the problem.. i figured going to a semi sinthetic would help..

Re: burning out my clutch?
If anything semi or full synthetics definetly help, they make shifting way smooth. I like to say it's like shifting thru butter. How many miles do you have on it? (the clutch) You might have killed it thou. I suggest putting in new friction plates, cheaper than the whole clutch. Also do not go back to straight dinosaur oil, stick with semi or full syn. Castrol R4 is a dope full synthetic.

hey hey
yeah i cant really see upgrading my oil being a problem.. but the bike was run on mineral oil before i bought it..
I think i just have to get a manual and finally go into my motor.. hopefully ill figure out how to shift my weight better once i get a new clutch and hopefully not blow it out right away
