need to know right now if any 16 inch front wheel will fit my 900 rr !

its a 1998 900 rr and im not sure what year the rim is but it is a 16 inch wheel.

i know my wheel is a 16 inch but i dont know if it wil be the same width between the forks of a dirrerent year rr.

please respond withing the next hour so i know what to do !

I'm probably late but. but the wheels are different as far as i know 93-97 take smaller rotors that the 98-99. I'm not positive what the diff is but i know there is some difference throughout the years.

im hoping my rotors will mount up and everything wil go on smoothe.

i already bought it so il guess ill have to see when it gets here

gonna try to find a dam website that tells me what years parts are interchangeable..

if anybody has more info hit me up.

no the axel width is way different. 98 or 99 only unless you change the whole front end. rotors won't bolt up either. You better send it back. I thought you knew this on stuntusa? here website to cross referance it. www.yamahaoftroy.com goto oem parts finder. I tried everything under sun to get 97 rim to work but it didn't. way way off.

everything will bolt together fine but if you have a the older setup the pads will only grip about half of the rotor causing some major chattering under braking. (i know this from experience) i will look it up in my manual later today

axel different bro. I did get rim on but like you said the rotors are way way off. better stick to years that fit
