Re: Gsxr Help Page-

Don't get me wrong, installing just an oil pickup isn't going to just take away that crisp, sometimes unforgiving throttle response away. However, it will provide 100% more consistency on idle pull ... which means a smooth delivery of power through the bottom end. Normally, as you put stress on the bike on the bottom end and it starts to "tractor" it would usually just stall out. It pulls so hard now, with the pickup, that I have come to almost a complete stop a couple of times and the engine just keeps chuggin. With greater consistency and pull on idle, I can turn the idle down from where I used to keep it ... which means lower RPM's ... which means less "twitch".

Did you already install your oil pick up? Did it fit properly? Just asking so i dont end up buying a fake or crappy machined part that doesn't fit.

If its a good product from that ebay user then ill snag one...

how will the pick up effect your bike if your not always in a wheelie? same right?

Yes, I have installed it and it works great.

Yes, it will work like normal for other use besides wheelies.

Gsxr Help Page-Sub frames are junk

2008 GSXR sub frames are JUNK.....

I Snapped my rear subframe in half today. I was rolling less than 5 mph catching idle, Dipped past 12 0'clock and kissed the 12 bar & snap, she broke......

I know that people on this site were complaining about how the 06-07 sub frames were junk because it was a three piece subframe design and had the rink-a-dink aluminum basket at the tail.

The 08-09 gsxr's have a two piece sub frame with out the aluminum basket at the tail (except the 1000). Thinking that Suzuki changing the rear subframe design would make it a little stronger.... Nope, still weak as all the other sub frames..

Lucky me, my back up sub frame came in right before i went stuntin, so now ill have the broken sub frame re-welded and beefed up...

Not exactly sure what your talking about... But if your talking about going to an easy pull clutch perch, which doesn't have the sensor under the clutch perch, either cut off the plug and jump the wires, OR run a small piece of wire from one hole to the other, and tape/glue it there. This bypasses that sensor, so the bike thinks the clutch is always pulled in, so you have to make sure its in neutral when you start it or that you do have the clutch pulled in.

I hate to tell you buddy but a sub frame cage is not gonna help you from breaking your sub frame on a gsxr.
