I went up 10 and I'm at 55 now so I'm assuming its a 45 stock. I think anyway.

And if you're gonna buy one, get the one that's hexagonal (6 faces) they hold better

Tip sensor question that I just may not be smart enough to figure out......

Once the tip sensor is unplugged, is that it? just unplug it and secure somewhere?

most of the time that will disable the bike. i dont' remember which one it is on the gixxers, because i didn't remove mine.

and easy way to do it without removing it....take it out, take the sensor apart and you'll see a ring that moves side to side. if you glue that ring in the middle where it's not making contact with metal, the switch will not work like a tip over switch. it disables the tip over switch, but the bike will still run properly.

Re: Gsxr Help Page-

Yo i have a couple of questions.... for the 06 600 GSXR.
I had the two Bros. exhaust on my bike and I had to return it because the welds a snappin on it..... and I put a stock one that I bought off of ebay for cheap.... I really don't like the two bros. for two reasons the loudness all day and how high it sits and I'm nervous about smashin it. Should I stay with the stock or stay with the two bros for the torque? I'm lookin for something that doesn't stick out to much on the bike. Second question is my bike has about 15000 miles on it now and it like has a like split second drop in speed and then its all fine it only does this around 5000 rpms.....what do you think it is?

Re: Gsxr Help Page-

I got a question with the idle on an 06 GSXR 600. I replaced the stock idle screw with a longer one that sticks out the side. When adjusting the idle - everything up to about 2000 is all good. Once you go past 2000 lets say to 2500 - as soon as you give it gas it jumps all the way up to like 5000. I cant get the **** where I need it to be. One of my boys who got an F4i told me that I shouldnt have replaced the stock idle because thats like a choke and that I have to add the longer cable elsewhere - like on the F4i. I thought on the GSXR all you have to do was swap for the longer cable? Did I do something wrong? Sorry for the blah blah blah and appreciate any help.

Re: Gsxr Help Page-

the tip over sensor. If you remove the metal swing completely, will the bike not start?Should I just tape the sensor like the pic?

Steering damper

I have an '04 Gixxer1000. I came down off a wheelie pretty hard and landed with my wheel turned and I managed to stay up but now when I go to lock my steering when I park it, I have to turn the wheel as far as physically possible in order to get it to let me lock. I was just curious if anyone knew of some ways to fix it or have I just basically broke my steering damper?

Re: Gsxr Help Page-

Need some help.
I’m getting a lot of wobble at very slow speeds when I’m turning on my gsxr 600 ’04. I’m in the process of stuntin it out now, so it hasn’t been abused to bad yet.
Any thoughts? Warped rim/steering damper?

Re: Gsxr Help Page-

Could be a bent rim, could be a bad tire, if it is slow speed it is definatly something out of round instead of an unstablility in your bikes setup.
