Simple question but no answers
I asked a guy at the Honda dealership this question and he looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. Are there any engine parts that are swappable between the CBR 600 and 900, I have a 96 that I am looking for motor parts for but I can only find parts for the 600.

most likely none of the parts are going to interchangeable... maybe some small things like clutch cables?!?!
go on ronayers.com and look up the part numbers of each part (like the stator cover of both 900 and 600) and if the part numbers match, they are interchangeable... but like i said... most likely almost everything isn't

the only thing i know of is i put 900rr carbs on my f2, didnt know that they were 900 carbs, but they worked. other than that i dont think that much would be interchangable.

Re: Simple question but no answers
really sweet, ok folks heres what I need, any help would be awesome, don't care to buy new (I am such a cheap ***, just ask my wife, I am still *****ing that a month after I bought her engagement ring for $600 I found the same one in the pawn shop for $70, she would have never known). But anyways this is the list of needed parts, the title is what it is under on my CBR manual cd, and the number is the item in the manual list for the digram, not sure if that actually helps anybody or not. But thanks yall.

Re: Simple question but no answers
ok a dude just ran something by me that is kind of weird. I have the stator but I don't have the wire, a dude told me that I can't use the stator cuz the wire is not attached to it. Ok so I can't just sauder it back like the factory did it, that is how the factory did it right??
